G4d.F Grenade

The Generation 4d Fragmentation Grenade was a fourth generation grenade designed by Lance Innovations during the Cosmian Wars based upon the favoured G4b.F Grenade. It was primarily developed in order to act upon the feedback from soldiers that the fuse time of the G4b.F could often end up dangerous to the thrower - and that it could be reliably increased without making it easier for the enemy to escape its effective radius. Lance Innovations increased the fuse time to 7.5 seconds, but also found reason to slightly upgrade the effective radius to 25 metres based on available data. However, the G4d.F was released too late to have a notable effect in battle, as the closing decades of the Cosmian Wars saw less infantry-to-infantry combat.
