G4b.F Grenade

The Generation 4b Fragmentation Grenade was a fourth generation grenade designed by Lance Innovations during the Cosmian Wars based upon the unsuccessful G4.F Grenade. It saw a considerable amount of use throughout the 79 years of the wars, becoming one of the most used expendable weapons of the conflict. Compared to its prototype predecessor, the G4b.F had its effective radius reduced along with its fuse time, but had its potency within that range significantly increased. The resulting model was heavy but highly lethal. Some issues were encountered with the six second fuse time, with some arguing that it was simply too short, making the grenade equally as dangerous to the thrower. This feedback led to the development of the G4d.F Grenade.
