The Generation 2a Fragmentation Grenade was developed by Lance Innovations based on the previous G1.F Grenade designed 42 years earlier. It features a 14 metre effective radius and a one second shorter fuse time, to allow for more aggressive use in combat. The G2a.F is still manufactured in small numbers by the Fox Corporation.
