The Kinetic Joint Defence Turret - 1L "Killjoy" is an upgraded variant of autonomous turret produced by Matchik Technologies. It improves upon its predecessor, the KJDT-1H, by expanding its range of coilgun compatibility and improving its infrared imaging and targeting systems to heighten accuracy. Supporting wireless datalink infrastructure, the 1L is capable of using location and status information transmitted from compatible devices held by infantry operators or drones to differentiate between friendlies and enemies.
