Deployables, oftentimes part of a set of infantry equipment, are tools able to be thrown into or set up in the middle of combat for the purpose of either repeated or medium to long-term use. The most common and easily recognisable type of deployable is the automated attack turret, although there are various different types utilised for a plethora of unique purposes. Given the exact nature of some deployables, they are often at the forefront of technological progression. This comes as a result of the needs or requirements they must fulfil, such as accurate target acquisition and tracking.
