The Shield-1B Full Combat Armour is a full body set of composite protective armour from Red Herrings that is used to limit the piercing ability of bullets fired from coilguns, increasing the survivability of soldiers in combat. Designed as part of a new program with the Human government seeking to develop a standardised set of full body armour for their military, the Shield-1 original blueprint surpassed the necessary protection benchmark by several marks.
