The Buckler-1 Frontal Bomb Defusal Gear is a forward-protecting set of bomb-proof armouring designed by Red Herrings for use by bomb defusal and/or general explosives experts. With bomb defusal gear not typically produced with the armour facing forward, the Buckler-1 is somewhat more unwieldy than its more conventional counterparts but is still capable of providing adequate protection from both blasts and shrapnel. However, complaints were still made about the limited movement making the handling of bombs more difficult for the personnel.
