BE Basic Combat Vest

The Bleak Enterprise Basic Combat Vest was a cheap, mass produced kevlar vest for general use. Issued primarily to Bleak Enterprise's own security staff, personnel were not pleased with its performance. In various interviews conducted during the investigation into the company's treatment of employees and history of safety concerns near the end of its life, many staff were quick to point out the vest's limited reliability. Claims of underperformance and even complete failure were not uncommon, with the vest sometimes completely failing to stop even small calibre rounds from puncturing it.
