The Mark 3 was the first fully mass-produced tank designed by Grenund Constructive, having passed the examinations performed by Cindus officials to become the new primary tank of the Cindus military. The medium tank featured a new hull and armour layout previously designed for the Mark 2.1 STP, but kept the engine first seen on the Mark 2. Another notable change came in the form of a new cannon, increasing its calibre by 2 millimetres with the 37mm Mark 2 Cannon.
Despite still being relatively simple in terms of its technology, the Mark 3 very quickly proved itself to be potent in battle, soon racking up a consistent weekly kill count. However, when data reports were analysed, it was found that despite the damage the tank was dealing, the Cindus military was still losing a large number of Mark 3 tanks to not just enemy fire, but also frequent breakdowns and fuel shortages.
