The Mark 2 was a medium tank designed and manufactured by Grenund Constructive based on the Mark 1. It upgraded the armour all around the tank and reduced the size of some flat surfaces. Although some modules such as the engine received improvements, the majority of the technology within the tank remained unchanged. One coaxial Mark 1 Light Cycler Coilgun was added to the turret beside the main gun, operated by a fifth crew member.
The Cindus military showed some interest in the developing design, although they refused to purchase additional units. However, Grenund Constructive was unable to continue its momentum due to a lack of funding, so the Cindus government offered to hire them on contract.
