The Soup Extraction Drill Platform was the first known designed method of harvesting soup en masse. Since the invention of the newer and far more effective SEG models by Mansteid Auto, the SED and its direct drilling method of collection has become completely obsolete. Some existing defunct platforms still sit abandoned on the surfaces of some planets.
