Artillery

Artillery is the primary mode of ground-based heavy direct and indirect fire used by militaries throughout the galaxy. It is most commonly used to provide fire support and cover for advancing or retreating troops and vehicles from afar. Artillery units can either be stationary or mobile, depending on the requirements of their mission. Crews will usually utilise a range of technology to assist with scouting, targeting, ranging and firing upon targets from up to several hundred kilometres away.
