The Quick-Launch B Edition 4 rocket was developed by Topman Dynamics as a direct upgrade of the QLA-E1 released 47 years earlier. It returned to the original high explosive warhead type equipped by the E1 while also incorporating the various changes made with the QLA-E2 rocket. Despite its age, the QLB-E4 still serves as the base for modern standard space rockets and is presently manufactured by Primus Manufacturing.
