The Quick-Launch A Edition 1 rocket was developed by Topman Dynamics as a baseline design for general purpose high explosive rockets. Featuring a Quick-Launch system, it could be fired from a rocket pod at a moment’s notice, allowing for improved accuracy and an overall greater effectiveness. The primary drawback of the QLA-E1 was that is was built upon the ageing Razor rocket model. It has thus been replaced by the QLA-E2 and QLB-E4 rockets, but the QLA-E1 remains in production with Primus Manufacturing and is still used today, although only as a training device for new pilots.
