The small startup almost failed to financially progress during its first two years after an internal cyber attack lost it several hundreds of thousands of tekks' worth of value. However, it made a comeback after Saber Herring managed to garner the support and sponsorship of multiple well-known benefactors. In 2167, Red Herrings was officially contracted to begin manufacturing armour for the Kolban Alliance.
