Followers of the Black Pearl

The Followers of the Black Pearl are a group that uses mind and thought manipulation technologies to indoctrinate members into their cult. The name of the cult originates from the starship that they inhabit, which has been painted matte black to match the darkness of space. This organisation focuses on pirate-like tactics, destroying ships in order to pillage resources and gain money, while kidnapping and indoctrinating the people from whom they steal from.

The Kolban Alliance has designated the Followers of the Black Pearl a public enemy. A massive bounty has been placed on the head of the leader Jack Jones and the rest of the cult’s leading body. Confirmed radar contact with the Black Pearl has been made several times over multiple years, but attempts to track and follow the ship have failed. The wreckages of their targets are still being found about four times a year.
