Sol is a main sequence star system of stellar class G, and the home system of the Humans. As such, the star's celestial classification is HH-001. Sol has eight planets orbiting it, four of which are terrestrial. A thick asteroid belt is situated between Murs and Juniper. Harvey's Comet makes short period orbits around the system, visible from the surface of each planet. As part of Human civilisation's considerable contributions to the field of astronomy since its introduction to the other races, Sol became the universal standard comparator for star mass and luminosity and Estra became the same for planets.
