Basecht is an orange main sequence star of spectral class K part of the Basecht binary star system. Positioned in the North-Western section of the Sleethier astral territory, its celestial classification is SX-007. Basecht is orbited by Borellion, the other star in the system, as well as eight planets. Half of these planets are classified as frigid terrestrials, making the Basecht system's main industry ice excavation.
