Farestann (Celestial Classification HD-044P2) is a barren terrestrial planet and the second planet in the Nethierre star system, located in the North-Eastern section of the Human astral territory. Positioned around 0.03 astronomical units away from the red dwarf star, it completes one full orbit every 160 hours. Farestann's nature as a tidally locked body means its rotational period lasts the same amount of time. The planet has evolved no kind of self-sustaining life. The lack of an atmosphere has also led to frequent craters dotting Farestann's surface.
There are no permanent residents living on Farestann. The Human military does occasionally use the surface for training exercises, but it otherwise very little activity.
