Blare (Celestial Classification CC-001P2) is a mountainous terrestrial planet and the second planet in the Firezin binary star system, located centrally within the Cindus astral territory. While the majority of its surface is dark grey, some spots are coloured a deep red, due to patches of fine metallic dust that have been eroded by what used to be lakes of water. Positioned around 0.33 astronomical units away from the two red dwarf stars, it completes one full orbit every 2,564 hours and one complete rotation every 88 hours. Blare has evolved no self-sustaining life, which can be attributed to its lack of an atmosphere and its loss any liquids.
No known permanent residents inhabit the surface of Blare, and the planet's internal composition renders it otherwise generally undesirable for mining and other harvesting operations. As a result, several Cindus military outposts operate there instead.
