Ao (Celestial Classification HH-001P5B) is a mountainous, highly volcanic moon orbiting the gas giant Juniper in the Sol star system. With over 400 active volcanoes scattered throughout its crust, the moon's yellow-gold surface sees almost complete renewal relatively frequently and undergoes a general mantle-crust material exchange process.

The frequent volcanic activity combined with the high levels of sulphur and sulphur dioxide being expelled by this activity make permanent infrastructure or settlement on Ao difficult to establish and maintain. This ejecta also generates a unfavourable level of ambient radiation on and around the moon.
